Hey people!

I think that my fingers are numb from typing so much this past week.

I know I have not been on here and my loyalty is here, but time is not.

The photographs are of, get this, a 62 mile traffic jam! That is not all! Get this even more~ THE 62 MILE TRAFFIC JAM LASTED FOR 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine? It was in Japan somewhere. You can Google it if interested, sorry. I just grabbed the pics. Now I don't know about you, but I do NOT see myself being in that insanity. First off, where would I urinate and have bowel movements, something that everyone in the whole wide world does, so don't you dare snicker and say I am ignorant for thinking of it.I mean, gosh, there would be so many getting out and doing it behind the vehicle door or something. Wow, seriously, it is funny, but what if you were caught in this? What do you think you would do? Then for water, for heat, food, babies running outta diapers and foods. Man, 9 days~ there is something for ya to think about now.

Here I am, all over the net, of course, when I need to be serious and work. Right now I am not happy.

I just wonder in my mind too much and I want to burst out of it and fly away to a place with no more worries. I always want to escape everything I know. Would it be too negative if I did escape? Is there any escape fairies out there? Maybe one will blow in with the wind, but until,

I need to share that I love piano music, I learned it and played it as a preteen, teen. I have forgotten 99.5% of it all! I thought I would never forget certain stuff, but oh my, No one would believe what middle age is until he is in that stage himself. That is probably true for many people.

I am not at all happy today. I got ripped off for work I did! GRRRRRR!!
I did not get paid for lots of time and writing I did and I could just go off!
It just is not right and this is crazy, but I need to pay ON a bill and I cannot now b/c
I have no money in which to do so. My family have helped, mostly when I practically begged! LOL
But I am so depressed now. My time and the physical pain that I have with just writing is hard top deal with.
I just do not understand how people can be the ways that they are! I am nice, so when I meet nice people,

I recognize it. Well I am tired of being the nice person. I need to be a real bitch, then maybe my life would be better?! No! LOL

Blast from the PAST!!

I drove a car almost exactly like this one in the pic. 3-4 speed on the column, not on the floor like my 1969 Mustang was. I loved this Ford! It would go fast, it was real heavy, so I thought it was safer, the gears were cool on the steering wheel piece and I loved it overall. It was my dad and mom's car...well, one of them. They always had two. I think they switched with each other. The second car that they had I learned to drive on and it was a Chevy Bel air! Maroon color.

I came home from school at 4 and dad did not come home from work til 5:30. So I talked to my husband of 40 years, who was my boyfriend then. I told him I would go down and meet him at this really weird spot! We met in the middle of the road! With my lil brother along, of course. We hung out on the road and then I took my brother for the ride in his life, and mine too I think! I had that car up to 100 mph with my little brother when he was about 9 and I was 16, just got my license in PA...I hurried to get home so my dad would not know that the car had been used. What a joke! I never once gave a thought about writing mileage down, feeling the hood of the car to see if it was warm, or how much gas was in it, but my dad sure thought about it! LOLOL!! I was caught!! When I look back at how stupid I was! My dad was an hour away working...sorry I forgot to finish this til now, Oct 7, 2010. ;-)

I love animals sooooo much, and I have none anymore! It is really odd for me. I would love to have a few hundred acres for nothing but the animals that need homes. That would be so many animals! Mine are all gone.In fact, Aug will be one year ago my dog died a gruesome death. I will never get over that dog being gone for the rest of my life. See, for me, I have to let myself remember some good, fun times with her...lest I lose the life we had together.

Well, I hve been wondering just what I get out of blogging, and if I am really a blogger or just a ranter! I love to write, although I do not mean typing. I like the feel of a pen in my hand. I love to doodle and do it a lot! I love the way I think and feel after writing something of importance to me.
Blogger, blog, bloggest, blogging, blog writer, and the list goes on. What does blogging mean to any of you out there? I wonder if "we" did not take it and make it into much more than it is and less than it could be? Did THAT sentence make sense? I hate when I try to get a point across and I cannot express it in the right words.

What am I trying to say? Well, that every time I look at what blogging TRULY is supposed to be, I see it as mundane stuff. Let me say that the definition everywhere I look = a blogger is one who blogs or writes, like a diary...on a day to day basis. Well, ya, this means that "we" are to record online, for the world, our personal and sometimes private lives, nothing more and nothing less! So if you want to see this in action, join myspace, facebook, blogspot, wordpress, and all the blog sites.

So what I get out of blogging is that it is NOT A LETTER, NOT AN ARTICLE, not a book or even necessarily good reading material. It is my space [I am on there too! To be someone in the book of life. So, what do you use your blog for? Are you a home lover who gets on and asks if anyone wants to chat about recipes? Or perhaps you are the backward person who tries to keep a profile on the down low. Whatever type you are, please support the site. Everyone has a desire to share personal info. Be careful instead of stupid ~ in choosing activities online. There are more free gadgets and widgets than one can count! I love it online and this is where I live...sometimes I even fall asleep, and I definitely eat here too, so that could mean that I am too content here in my office chair.Hmm...I AM at home!! LOL

Can you believe this bridge? I forget where it is, but the info for it was that it is one of the many dangerous bridges in the WORLD. There is only one way out and one way in, to get over to the island that is there. I know this area is popular for getting hurricanes. So if one does not get out in time, it could suck em up into the storm. Can you imagine having to hurry out onto this bridge with important personal belongs to hang onto, and making it across by the time the storm is gonna hit? Worse yet, getting babies and small children...

I have a thing about bridges. I also have a thing for: Paranormal, death, medical/physical/anatomy stuff, Disasters of any kind, such as: hurricane, tornado, shipwreck, fires, floods, torture, faces of death, dangerous bridges, dangerous roads, dangerous people, unsolved mysteries, weapons, reincarnation, and about everything that could be a mystery. What challenges they are to me.;-)

I am so sick of Chinese spam! It is really embarrassing to me b/c of the sexual content. I am so sorry. I want this issue to go away, but I am not so sure it will unless I restrict comments to only members/followers. In other matters, my son, 28 tomorrow, is moving 600 miles away with my only two grand kids, and his wife. [I have pics on here of them,but I thought about safety and took off all info about them. Never put a pic and info up of kids, lest they be stolen, sold, prostituted out, etc. This is a truth, unfortunately.]I am heart broken. I have been with my grandson since his moment of birth. He has stayed with me quite often. We love each other so much...and my lil grand daughter, same thing, except I was not at her birth. We love each other so much too.These two are gonna miss me, but not nearly as much as I will miss THEM. I am so sad about this. I could be excited for them, but they are moving to a relatives to stay with them until they find a place. The area they are moving to is not the best they could find. I will come back later.

How To Take Care Of A Kitten

Loving the new pet will be the number one priority for learning how to take care of a kitten. Love is shown in many ways, such as grooming, petting, playing, feeding, and caring for the little ball of fur. Without any love, which includes touching and being held, the kitten will never survive. One must become the pet parent to this little feline.

One good practice is to set aside time every day to play with kitty. It is ideal to have two kittens to grow up together and play together. Nothing can be more fun. Give more attention to a lone kitten.

Another practice is grooming needs to be done daily. This means brushing and combing the fur, wiping his face off with a warm washcloth, and brushing his teeth.

Having said that, treats are important to use for rewarding the kitten when he has positive behavior. Crunchy treats are good for teeth and soft, chewy treats are the better ones to use to reinforce him. Do not give him too many.

Feed kittens the foods especially made for kittens. Do not give them adult cat foods, and never people foods. Remember that milk will give kitty the runs or maybe constipate. Fresh water is a must.

Vet care is of the utmost importance for a new pet. Kitty will need shots, a stool check, flea and tick protection, worm check, and an exhaustive review by the vet overall.

Litter box basics are fairly easy. Buy a shallow pan or a regular litter box made for cats. Put the container in a spot that is safe to leave the box, such as away from dogs, water, and foods. Put kitty in the box and let her walk around and check it out.

I tell everyone else to come here then I never do! I need to do this every day, but let me say that I do so much writing and reading all day, I am bummed about the time I put in...

I am in a not so happy mood, stemming from no money once again. I have had such hardship for like 5 or so...maybe longer. No income either. I just recently finally started making money b/c I found a decent company to write for. ;-)

Anyhow, what do you do when you have no money? Well, crying helps, but I cannot wallow in that for very long. If I do, I end up sad, depressed, lonely, and I get angry sometimes as well.

This blog has been edited to omit pics of my grand children since there are so many twisted freaks out there!

Old Age is not what it used to be!

Hey, this is my dad. I still call him Daddy! He is so sweet. I miss him so much. I have not seen him since Christmas last year and he lives about 3 miles from me! 'Complicated, I know. Well, anyhow, how old would ya guess him to be? He is 92! I think he looks like he is about 70-75. He lives in assisted living since my mom died recently...anyhow, he seems to be as happy as he can be. He gets out more than I do, so he is ok.

I brought older age up today because I read something VERY, VERY WEIRD!!!! Yes, the 2 oldest people, who both were women, DIED ON THE SAME EXACT DAY!!!!!!! Is that strange or is it me? LOL. Yep, one lady was in ND I think and the other one I forget, but it was a few states across the map from the other one. Both died...one was almost 115! The other I think was 113. WOW~

I wonder if dad will live that long...or if he wants to! He said when he was turning 80 that he was done living, more or less, and did not care to have many more birthdays! Wow, little did he know that he would still be alive, better than ever, after 12 more years! Well, he had been real sick then too, and very weak.

Old age. I hope I live to see it. I am only 29 and I will stay 29 mentally b/c I refuse to grow up!! ;-)

Hey people~
First of all, I wanna thank my first follower for doing so! Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I went to your space and now I am following you! Your art of photography I really do appreciate b/c I am a photographer as well...For my own pleasure. I also managed a photography studio and did many portraits...for the K mart and Wal mart stores...Thanks again and I will be in touch.

A week or more ago, my computer gave me the blue screen of death! I have had it before, but this time, I knew that there was nothing I could do to fix it. I tried repeatedly to fix it to no avail. Well, this was not happy news for me. I had no money, so I had to borrow it to take the computer to the shop for repair.

I called around and found a lady who acted as if she knew what was wrong and knew her stuff, so I had my husband take the tower to her shop. On the phone, the lady gave me a price that was real decent, and she said it was probably my hard drive. Thank God I know a lot about computers b/c I would not have had any clue as to what was up with it. The hard drive was replaced.

So I ended up not having my computer for days and when I got it back I have had to do allll kinds of updating, uploading, etc...and oh my, I LOST alllll of: My documents, My pictures, and stuff I cannot ever replace that took me hours and days to do.

I need to stop here for now and go rest. I have had pneumonia in my right lung, pla or ah see, bronchitis, and a sinus/ upper respiratory infection! So I am just now getting over it all...and I am tired. I will finish this later.

Sick, Suspicious, and ?

I have been in deep thought today, I am sick again. I get pneumonia every year it seems, and I may have it now. I have had chest pains, fever, aching, chilling w/ 5 blankets on me...extremely weak w/ shakes all over, hacking blood and mucus...Oh God, so horrible with walking like drunk and wobbling!

I am SURE you people reading this are interested in my illness. LOL.

Did ya ever get the feeling that an online social buddy is not who he says he is? Well, I have had this happen before and it was true and I KNOW it will happen again.

When did the original blog change into the super blog with stipulations, topics, competition to offer the most, be the best? When did we allow it all to happen? Because what I know is that the blog concept has been big on doing it as a "journal," on a daily basis...now it is all about search engine optimization and how much one can put on the blog, etc. What is up with this?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! IT IS 2010!!!

So here it is another new year and I have no resolutions. I never have had any that I actually stuck with. So how about you people??

Today I want to talk about my new consulting services! It is called "ASK KAT." Yes, I am always into something to make a living. I am having a financially good year so far...2 days now! LOL.

OK, I am very experienced in having others consult me to vent, tell me what no one else can hear from them, and basically let their hair down...well, this is sorta like that. I will be taking appointments and my charges depend upon time and how much chatting or other correspondence there is involved. Basically I will charge 20 bucks per hour with no appointments being under one half an hour. This will be strictly via email, then if chat is needed, it will be used too. The money is paid up front to pay pal, a very safe haven to get money to and from others. No other form of payment will be accepted except money orders mailed to me and the appt will be set to allow payment to reach me first. Trust me, Pay Pal is secure and I have dealt with them for 6 years now and I love them!

So basically you can ask me anything and I will give you an answer within 12-24 hours. This is 5 bucks per short question. 10 bucks for medium size question, and 15 bucks for long questions. Well, the answers really.

My Last One...

This is Juju, the last animal I had...he was the first animal I have ever had that was put to sleep. He was out all night and half a day and I knew something was wrong...my husband found him lying in the snow and saw that something was very wrong. He came to the house crying and told me that the cat had been hurt by something. He hid under a huge pine tree when I went out to get him, but he came out for me and I carried him in a small baby blanket back to the house, into our basement...

Juju had been run over or attacked by an animal...we now think it was a big raccoon after finding tracks today...anyhow, poor little Juju's left eye was nothing but dark blood and it had ruptured out. It looked as if he had a big balloon instead of an eye from his eye, it stuck out over an inch. His nose was bleeding, his eyes both bleeding, and he could not swallow hardly at all. He had scratches dug around the eye...and his lungs sounded as if they were collapsing slowly.

He ended up staying in the basement until he got up, came up the stairs to me, and let me hold him like a baby. He purred and was very content with his grandmuzzie holding him. I was shocked that he came up the stairs. I took him into my office and sat in the office chair that I have, holding him...rocking him. He loved it and purred really loud.

I knew this would be my last time ever holding him, cuddling as he loved. I cried and asked out loud how does one say goodbye to a loved one so dear? I rocked him and sang, hummed, and petted him until he had to go...

Juju had to be put to sleep permanently, and it just killed me to make this decision. He was dying anyhow. He could not eat or even drink any water. He also had internal bleeding and he could not swallow easily.

I am so sad. This year, first mom died, then my dog Duchess, and now my cat~ Besides my man, my life has nothing living now, no animals. I have a broken heart, it hurts so much to lose a loved one, be it a family pet or person.

Adopting Safety Conscious Behavior

To stay safe personally anywhere may seem unrealistic, but adopting safety conscious behavior helps a person tremendously with the responsibility of protection for himself. Caution can save someone from harm at home or out there anyplace one goes.

A real stay safe consciousness is easy to practice. One can stay safe in this day and age by adopting safety conscious behavior and being attuned to his surroundings at all times.

This does not imply that one needs to be panicky or fearful about living day-after-day. It just means adopting safety conscious behavior anywhere one is. Protecting oneself is not all that hard once one knows how to stay safe. Using common sense and listening to one's gut instinct is the real key to awareness and protection.

Furthermore, teaching all family members to be mindful of their surroundings is wise protection in this world today. Children are vulnerable to many horrors unless they know what can hurt them. Kids are usually tuned in well to their instincts, so if they are instructed to listen to their gut feelings, they can stay safe.

KEYS ARE: STAY SAFE, ADOPTING SAFETY CONSCIOUS BEHAVIOR,
Intelligent ways of adopting safety concious behavior

When at home, do not ever open the door to a knock unless you see who it is. Install a peep hole in the door. They are very inexpensive and can save a life. When someone knocks, one can see who it is, but the person outside cannot see in. This is a smart way in adopting safety conscious behavior.

Another stay safe strategy is to choose a family password and use it when coming in. Only give the word to members of family, no one else, and use it all the time. Make the person outside give the password or do not open that door. Change the word every year.

Do not plant shrubs in front of windows, doors, or dark areas where somebody may hide. Make sure windows and doors are locked,even when someone is home. This must be done if one is to stay safe at home.

Place bright lights around the outside of the home and use them from dusk till dawn, Motion lights are great as well. It will cost very little and can help everyone inside stay safe.

After dark, keep windows closed with blinds or drapes, so no one will be able to see inside. Dead bolts are the best locks to install for great protection.

Make the neighborhood and workplace safer by letting the local cops know about any broken out lights on the streets. Make sure that parking areas and vacant lots are kept clean and well lit too.

Start a stay safe group that lets the local government know what needs to be done in the area to keep it safe. The entire neighborhood can join in the adopting safety conscious behavior.

Never, ever give a persons address, phone, or personal information out over the phone, in public, online, or through the door.

Never let a child answer the phone unless he knows how to use it properly. Teach youngsters phone rules and be sure they abide by them. Make sure to stay safe by teaching him never to give out names or other info to the caller.

Regardless of who says what, never let anyone at the door, online, or on the phone know that someone is home alone.This is one of the best ways to stay safe.

While waiting for a bus, cab, or other ride, stay alert to what is happening in the environment. If there is unusual activity going on or people acting in ways that make one feel fear, walk away and be ready to scream if need be. Adopting safety conscious behavior means keeping oneself under protection all the time.

Keep flashlights, candles, matches, and batteries in a safe spot at home in case of emergencies. Also, give all family members a whistle to keep with them at all times for emergencies.

While driving or traveling alone, act as if there is someone else in the vehicle too. Put a pillow and blanket in the back seat, arranged like it is someone resting, or use a dummy in the rider seat. Use a hat, blanket, coat, glasses, and whatever else to make it look real. Talk to the dummy if an uneasy feeling comes or someone is following. Don't laugh! This stay safe strategy has given lots of people protection.

Teach all family members the neighborhood where the police force, fire, public telephones, hospitals, and late night places are at just in case of emergency. List phone numbers by telephones also.

Do not ever expose cash, jewelry, or drugs out where anyone can see them. Put this stuff away out of sight for the best protection. If one really needs to do this, practice adopting safety conscious behavior by concealing what one is doing or turning one's back to any other people.

Never carry over five dollars at any given time to stay safe. Put the money in an account and use a debit card, as it is easy to hide. Same with credit cards. Leave them at home if possible or keep in a real safe spot in apparel one is wearing. Memorize the numbers so they do not get lost on paper.

Never go to an ATM when there are other people around. Wait till everyone leaves. Be very alert and if possible, take someone else too. To stay safe, try to use these machines in daytime hours and inside places that have them.

If walking at night, stay on well lit streets, have a buddy if possible. Avoid alleys, woods, parking lots, or any unfamiliar places. If one has to be in this situation, stay safe by carrying a whistle. If attacked, blow the whistle in the person's ears and use a sharp object to poke the eyes, then run, yelling, "fire!".

In the daylight, use highly traveled paths to and from where one is going. Violence happens in broad daylight at times, so stay safe using the night time tips as well. It never hurts to have protection at all times.

Always keep a purse on the shoulder, under the arm, close to ones body. Do not let straps dangle from the purse to be an easy target. Keep wallets in front, not back pockets, or inside jacket pockets. Pick pockets are everywhere, so stay safe and do not let them grab.

Adopting safety conscious behavior by wearing comfortable clothing and shoes when out by oneself. Many heels and tight clothes have been advantages to robbers.

When arriving someplace, put keys away before getting out of the vehicle and when going back to ones car, make sure to have the key ready to use, in your hand.

A superb way to stay safe is to carry a small can of hairspray, Lysol spray, bug killer, or some similar product that one can use to blind an attacker. Mace is great too. Aim for the eyes and get away fast!

Yell "Fire!" when in trouble, or stay safe by praying over and over out loud to distract the attacker. Or whisper a song to confuse him. If one yells other words, make the words loud and clear so anyone can hear that is nearby. Yelling "call 911" Is another one that is good to use.

Keep the car or other auto one may drive in tip top shape, and be sure to have gas in it at all times to get where one is going and back home safely.

While walking, if it appears that someone is following, stay safe by walking in the opposite direction and into a safer place, like a store, bank, or other business.

Be sure to lock the vehicles windows and doors, then check inside, underneath, and outside before getting back into the auto.

In general, do not use parking garages or underground garages. If one must use them, use additional precautions for other numbers that pertain to using a vehicle and staying safe.

If one is robbed, give the thief what he wants and do not risk getting seriously injured or killed. Make sure to report it to the police. This also helps prevent kidnappers, rapists, etc. for others to deal with.

Get a block party going for keeping a well informed safe neighborhood.

In summary, it is up to each individual human to protect himself anywhere he may be. It is real simple to stay aware, at all times, of one's surroundings.

To Joe Cool, Friday, and all the other mortals out there who fly the Stars and Bars, thinking it's so cool and hip to rouse a human being because of his color. The horrors of slavery and racism is out. In fact, it is even so far out that it is almost non existent until one individual stirs up all the hatred once again. Hey, don't embarrass your selves out there people! Knowledge is the real power.

I was sent this written explanation about what it means to fly the Confederate Flag. I have added a few thoughts to it, and I ask you to do the same. I love this answer and whomever is the original author, please come forward, knowing you have helped many to understand what this flag is all about. I would love to honor you for this information.

The confederate flag is a tangible agency of the confederate opinions. If you presently fly or have flown the confederate flag, you believe that the south will rise again, that the slavery of African Americans is a just cause and will at some point become an acceptable belief system at some future moment in our country.

Reality #1 - The south will not rise again.

Reality #2 - The world has decided as a majority that slavery is an inhumane usage of mankind.

Reality #3 - The Confederate flag is representation of slavery and racism and anyone who proudly flies this flag has a strong belief in these practices.

Reality #4- The World is not flat and the whole universe knows it.

Reality #5- Natural selection takes care of those that do not evolve with the rest of the world.

I don't need to have millions of my own color or creed enslaved to know something is immoral, dead wrong, and a crime against the human race.

Chaos About Work

Well, today has been a little crazy for me with learning an entirely new program/system...for a new job that I sure hope works out for me. I have not had any income for over 5 years now n [Yep...I like cheese with my WHINE! LOL] and I am just at wits end. I know I need to file to get disability, but I would not get much or anything at all, b/c my hubby makes 11 grand a year! Is that awful or what? It bites real hard to be poor, but I have been all my life. I have also fought to get out of it most of my past life since like 20! So, God willing, I will have an income soon. I have made 500 week salary back in 2005, so I have hurt a long time and I have had to adjust to not having money and the worst part is that I have worked almost around the clock...rant!

Chaos....Yes, well, the new program...but also my feelings. I am not wanting to be here. I want to travel the world and that is so funny! So unrealistic for me!! Not unless some rich guy [or gal] comes along and falls desperately in love with me, and whisks me away from all that I have known in small country towns ville! That would be nice too....but when I was 16, I did get whisked off my feet, falling in love, and Mr. Rich rescued me from my mom and dad! LOL...I hated living at home...getting married was an escape at first, and a dream...By the way, Mr. Rich is his name! I married a Richard...Ya, funny huh?

I do not know what I am gonna do with myself if I do not get an income going though. I need money so desperately, and I hate being in this state. I feel the depression engulfing me, bringing me down...

My only daughter, who lives 500 miles from me now, will not be coming home for the Christmas holiday season. She has come home every year she has been living in the south. Last Christmas, my mom was sick and in the hospital, so we spent time with mom in there...then she went home and my daughter went home too...and she knew when she left that it was the last visit she would see her Grannie, and it was. Only a week after leaving, she came back for the services and all. Mom died Jan 11th, so my daughter was here this year, for the burial and all. So now she wants all her family to go there for Christmas...

So the bottom line here is that Christmas will never be the same for any of my family. My dad is in an assisted living home and mom is gone. My in laws are both gone as well, and we live in the home they built and lived in, where my hubby was raised. My mom in law died on Dec 23rd, 1 day prior to Xmas Eve, so it has all ready been "marked" forever with the agony of her brain tumors and her death at Christmastime. SO life goes on for all the rest of us.

Oh, my neighbor, my husband's only sister, has a death coming soon...of her father in law. He was given 2 months to live w/ cancer that has ate him up. Oh, he is 78 or so I think...

Also, I really do not like this whole Christmas thing, but I have been suckered in for all my life basically. I do not like the holiday since I quit drinking years ago, and it is not as cheery b/c of that! I think the entire lie of the holiday goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy to far also.

Outdoor Surprise Tonight

I just came in from a walk outdoors at midnight hour. While I was out there, I heard something rustling in the leaves in my dogs fenced in area. She died in August and we have just let the fence stay and leave the gate open b/c there was a ton of dog food in one of those feeders that allow the food to slide down as it is eaten. Ya, animals come round to eat it.

I thought it was a cat...hmm...I went almost into the large cage and saw a big fat possum! She was trying to get away climbing up the tree, but she was not trying hard as I talked to her. She looked at me and stopped. I softened my voice and told her I would not hurt her. So I left her alone...I heard her squeal a couple of times...I think she was looking for a place to have her babies.

Ya, my cat was out there with me too. He didnt mind, of course he is an angel kitty, so he would help if he could. ;-) Juju really is a sweetie. He was with 3 of my family animals that have died off and left him and I.

I saw him trying to capture a bunny rabbit and I thought, nope, he loves Fancy Feast cat food, he will eat that, not the rabbit! LOL. Well, I think he was playing.

My days and nights are filled with writing, talking to my husband, holding the cat, smoking, walking, sleeping, working around the house to clean up. It is a far cry from what I used to do. I miss my jobs! That will be another blog. lol

Folgers Coffee

I am a lover of Folgers brand coffee, plain and simple!

I first started drinking coffee when I got married at sixteen. I drank it very weak and put loads of sugar in it. Why bother? It was something different to drink and my new man drank it.

Over time, I have tried about every coffee under the sun, including Guatemala, Japanese, and Israeli coffees and coffee beans too. I have had coffee that was bitter, tasted like syrup, as well as some that was so heavy with toppings that I could not even taste the coffee. I have also had it so weak that it tasted like water. I have drank it hot, cold, weak, strong, and just right. I have sipped it in the morning and slurped it at night. LOL.

I also have drank coffee in the bathroom, living room, kitchen, basement, in my car, on trips, while driving a car and a motorcycle, and even on bleachers!

I have tried many flavors of coffees too. Everything from mocha to vanilla to cherry~I have gagged on many that I did not like and ordered extras of the kinds I have liked. Tee Hee. My favorites are vanilla and hazelnut. Yummy!

One coffee I do like other than Folgers is Cappuccino from Kings Restaurant. It is very good and I think they use Folgers! Ha! Ha! I am serious!

I have drank my coffee from foam cups, ceramic cups, wooden cups, cardboard, paper, glass, a thermos, sealed cups, and plastic. I think it taste best in glass or ceramic though.

So, my love of coffee grew over the years and I have developed a taste for that spunk of stronger java when I wake up in the morning. I have grown to use it during the afternoon or evening for a pick me up as well. I drink it till I feel the jolt it gives me, then I do not want more or I get hyper.

Well, I have learned that coffee is a drug because it has caffeine in it. [Why does this not surprise me?! Everything I like...] I have become addicted to it over 35 years! If I do not drink it, I get withdrawal with a headache or sleepiness. Still, I gotta have my Folgers! Folgers is a coffee that I tried many years back, and I noticed a HUGE difference in the taste. Never bitter, never too cheap~Folgers is mountain grown and really does have the richest, smoothest taste.

Now, I drink Folgers with NO sugars and only a little bit of creamer. I can fix it anytime and it it always tastes as good as the first cup, every time, even cold.

My guests who have drank the Folgers coffee always ask me what it is because it tastes so good! I have changed over about 10 people, at least, to Folgers~the best part of waking up! Be sure and try Folgers. It is one coffee that is not charged an outrageous price too. It is actually affordable for anyone coffee!

This is what I tried posting to ABC news comments this morning when I read the update on the 15 year old girl getting beat on and raped for 2 hours! The worst part is that over 2 dozen people stood around watching! And some of them recorded it on cell phones and put em online! This harrowing news really makes me angry! Here are my thoughts:

We were shocked in the baby boomer era, all that changed as a result of history. So we are not shocked anymore, bottom line.We have witnessed rapes in movies, TV shows, and even porn. We are so used to all that is negative in the world.Come on, after 9/11 we all changed as a result.

I agree with some comments on here about what the kids are learning by using cells, wearing name brands, games they play, music, new cars or whatever. YES, these DO affect our youngest kids from the day they are born b/c they were born here and now...I was born then, that was my time. Yeah, it is your time now you younger people than I am.

But wait!! What happened? How did we and our kids fair after having grown up into adulthood's now, at this time in life? We adapted to what is and allowed our values, morals, assertiveness, and truth to fall by the way side. Oh here kids, is a movie rated R for you to watch while I go to the store. OR Hey, that was cool what you stole! Get the idea?

It takes more sexual abuses, more violence, more raw crimes to get attention because we, as a society, have MADE crimes like rape look like no big deal, and one may even hear comments that she asked for it, she deserved it, she was at fault. Do NOT adapt yourself to what is told, but by all that you experience yourself.

Also, it is being said that it was a turn on, and teens taped the crime onto cell phones to use later...Due to their curiosity, people stare. They may cover younger eyes, but not their own...It happens. Crime happens. It has happened soooooooooooo much and for soooooooooooooo long, we are ALL DESENSTIZED to what goes on. It is no biggie.

This is WHY people do what they do. People do not care, don't want involved, be in trouble, be bothered with it all...for all we know, it was NOT a rape and if it is, who wants to get shot or knifed up by this gang attacking this gal? Not many would. So if nothing changes, everything remains the same. I think all adults need to ask not why, but HOW...How did this take place? What happened to make me feel, think, accept these changes and how can I change any of it?

If I even THOUGHT that something was going on that should not, I would be on 911 in a second, end of story. If I see that it truly is a bad situation, I would leave, yelling FIRE! FIRE! and get EVERYONE'S attention.

If I could do anything at all, I could ask who she is and find the cops with this info. I COULD NOT LET THIS NIGHTMARE GO ON!!!!!

Here it is the autumn of 2009. Pretty soon it will be 2010, can you believe this?
I always feel such melancholy during the autumn, especially the early part, Sept-Oct. The beauty leaves me speechless...the many beautiful colors my God has given me! He could have made it all blue, or gray or any other blah....but NO, we see in COLORS! This is a true blessing.

Anyhow, I get a little nutty after being in my space online for days and weeks on end. I need a vaca, but I cannot afford to travel.

Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. Standing near the security gate, they hugged, and the mother said, 'I love you, and I pray you enough.'

The daughter replied, 'Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I pray you enough, too, Mom.'

They kissed, and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry.. I tried not to intrude on her privacy, but she welcomed me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'

Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?'

'Well...I'm not as young as I once was, she lives so far away & has her own busy life. I have some challenges ahead, and the reality is - her next trip back will be for my funeral,' she said.

'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I pray you enough.' May I ask what that means?'

She began to smile. 'That's a prayer that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.' She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and she smiled even more. 'When we said, 'I pray you enough,' we wanted the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.'

Then, turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

I pray you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I pray you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I pray you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I pray you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger..

I pray you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

Then, she began to cry, and walked away.

Few events are more tragic than the death of an innocent victim in a crash caused by a drunk driver.

Fortunately, " Drunk Driving Poem," also known as "Death of an Innocent," has sobered many... but not nearly enough yet.

During the two minutes it takes for you to read the poem, another person will be injured in a drunk driving accident. That person could be the driver, who made the terrible decision to drive while intoxicated. Or that person could be a mother of three who just ran out for a gallon of milk and is now fighting for her life in a hospital bed.

While it is sad to think that automobile accidents are the number one killer of children ages 2 to 14, it is even worse to know that 21% of these kids die in alcohol-related crashes. Their parents may have strapped them in and drove carefully, yet not even the most vigilant parent could protect them from a drunk driver.

Holidays are some of the most dangerous times of the year on the road. More than two-thirds of traffic fatalities on New Year's Day and half of those on Christmas involve a drunk driver. Holidays should be a time to spend with loved ones, not bury them.

The good news is that you can help innocent people from being hurt by drunk drivers by getting others to think twice about whether to drink and drive.

I went to a party, Mom,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom,

Please, reduce avoidable injuries and deaths by distributing "The Drunk Driving Poem" at the times when drinking and driving is most likely to occur:

* E-mail a copy of "The Drunk Driving Poem" to ten friends near Christmas and New Years Eve.
* Send a copy of "The Drunk Driving Poem" to your local newspaper and ask them to print it the day or so before Super Bowl Sunday and other major sport championships.
* Ask newspaper editors at your local high school to print a copy of "The Drunk Driving Poem" in the school newspaper before Homecoming and prom.
* Post a copy of "The Drunk Driving Poem" on a bulletin board at work during the days leading up to the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
* Send a copy of "The Drunk Driving Poem" to leaders of the Greek system at your alma mater and ask that it be posted in fraternity and sorority houses during pledge time.

My dog died, we all cried. because we all tried to save her any misery, suffering, or pain. Now the days without her will make me insane. She was 12.5 yrs old, so she has lived beyond her life expectancy of 12 years for Labrador Retrievers. I need to rest. The day past has worn me thin. It has been hot 90s and the highest humidity that I have seen in a long, long time.

Hey out there~ I have not kept up with blogging b/c my time lately has been writing articles, spending time with my grand kids, and trying to survive the humidity and heat. It has been one hell of a summer here in West Virginia. First it is cool and rainy, then heat waves of humid, very warm air. Stifling and miserable. I want winter on these hot days...just a little bit of cool...lol Has anyone noticed the social sites organized on one site thing going on online? It has taken over the net, I swear! I have been a sucker. I have at least 10 sites under my belt! Not to count the sites I visit for other stuff...I have decided that when I had a business, it was okay, but now I no longer have my biz online, so I do not need all the publicity, so I have begun to beg off these social sites. Well, I have not seen my only daughter in almost nine months, longest ever since her birth in 1979...It is so hard when she lives 500 miles from me and I have no money to go on the trip to see her. She was home at Christmas 2008, then she went back home only to turn around and fly back to see my mom and attend her funeral. My mom died on January 11th of this year. It was very sad. She had been here when mom was in the hospital and we hung out in the hospital while she was home with her dad and I. I never know what to blog about, and that is really odd for me~ I could always write about everything under the sun. I still can, but I need a guide where I want to go with it all. I am just okay today. Smiles.

A Beautiful Day

Today, this past twenty-four hours, I have enjoyed a sunny day with a high temperature of about 72ish, blue skies, a wonderful, cooling breeze...and sharing all of it with my two grand babies. They loved it outdoors as much as I did. It has been my most favorite type of day since I was under 5 years old. I recall swirling around in the wind, and it was a beautiful, colorful autumn day. That was the first time that I ever really noticed my surroundings so much. Anyhow, it has been real today! I have sooooo many sites I have signed up for related to work and leisure.It is so addicting, I swear! LOL I cannot keep up with over half of them, so I am trying to get my writing to be all in one spot, here if possible. I am very busy tonight but I will be back soon! Yep, it is me again. I am blogging nothing really so far. Have you ever thought about death? What are your beliefs, thoughts, fears? I wonder... Death has slapped me in the face w/ the loss of my brother and my mom now too. It hurts like heck to miss mom. Gosh, life can really get to me if I let it. It is hard not to think about for me for many reasons, but those two are the biggest. I am at a stagnant place in my life that I do not like, and I am not at all happy. I feel very much alone too. My kids are grown, I have grand babies, and life IS beautiful and full of many blessings...and I am grateful. That is not what I mean exactly though. Oh! Yahoo 360 is going to be no more real soon. I have been there at least 5 years now. I know that I am happy about the weather! It is springtime! All most summer! On the 21st, then the day I was born is the 22nd. Well, spring sure is here, is it not? The birds have arrived, the rains have came, the warmth is coming back into the earth once more for another faithful renewal. The entire process of coming alive whispers to each of us. Once more is the spring and once more, we become a happier world. Oh yeah, the world is not in such a great position of any happiness at the moment, is it? Look at the news every single day. There is no shock value left to us much either. It is such a reactive world out there. People fight over nothings, and the trends are horrific and traumatic, the fads are for the rich and fabulous anymore, and no one can find anything to be content with. Hmmm, so ya, here I am at zero again. I have closed my business name and LLC , and all I am doing online now I can do without the state license. I am not happy about it though either. I have spent the past 4 years of my life in front of my computer, working. I still am, but just small stuff compared to what I have been into those 4 years. I have always loved to write and I have always been told that I have a talent for writing, as well as helping others. So i am finally combining the two. Well, I have had pen pals from all over the world who needed my help and I was able to be there for them. I will be blogging here, where I am most comfy. I am going to try to get all of my social site stuff and more moved to this blog or I will put a link here. I have been quite busy and I have a couple of sites I am building, so watch for them on here. Peace~

Here it is the eve of the pagan holiday that sooooo many celebrate as like the greatest day of the year. It is also the holiday that I see most people building up over the year and making a super amount of fuss over. Incredible and gee, so inappropriate to me! I do not care for the Christmas holiday. In fact, I do not decorate or celebrate much really. I keep it to real minimum and just do what I can get away with for my fam. I would not even bother if not for them b/c I dislike this particular holiday, this day of jubilation to most. I think that it it all wrong~the way in which people celebrate this pagan celebration. For example, if you read up about the history of Christmas, then you KNOW Jesus's birth was not on Dec25th, or even in December! And nowhere in the Bible does it tell that we are to celebrate Christmas, nor does it mention

Today I hope all is well with you and your pups, dogs, kittens, cats, and all other animals too. ;=)

I want to share with you that animals get colds just like we do. They can get a stuffy head, running nose drainage, sneezing, and weakness or even a temperature are not uncommon. If your darling pet is healthy, the cold will go away in about a week or so, but you may want to call your vet if you think 'lil Fee fee needs medicine to get rid of the nasty cold.

Meanwhile, there are several ways in which you can comfort your beloved until she is better.For example, keep your pet warm and turn a humidifier on in the room where she sleeps. Make sure to give her plenty of clean, fresh water and foods rich in moisture. Doing so encourages comfort and good health for your baby.

Furthermore, keep your sick animal away from other pets and make sure that you do not carry the cold germs to others. Wash your hands after handling any sick animal.

I am Kat and I am new here to blogger, but I have been blogging quite a while at Yahoo and on my site.

Oh! The Labrador Retriever is Duchess, 11 years, 6 months old.She is my
sunshine. She is much slimmer now and a little older looking than this picture here..

***UPDATE April 20, 2010: Duchess died last Aug on the muggiest, hottest day of the year. She was in misery all day and it was SUCH horror. I love this dog like I never loved any animal, and some humans!

Then there is the cat, Juju, a boy kitty, about 8 yrs old, who thinks he is a dog! lol.
Notice the color of their fur matches? Neat, huh? We think so.They kiss and rub noses and really they are very close, especially since 2 older cats we had for years died in the past 18 months or so. I had no idea the pics would be this
size, but I figured what the heck~
***UPDATE: Juju died on Dec 22 last year, only four months after Duchess. That time alone was hard for him too. He was buddies with the neighbor kitty, but he had to cross the road. He either got hit or a wild animal attacked him...we found him with his one eye bulged out of his head and he was not breathing right so we had him die. It was like a nightmare.

So I have lost three cats and a dog I had long term. Also, my older brother died then my mom died...dad went into a home at 91. He is doing well at 92.

I look forward to finding comments as feedback, please, if you will. =^..^=

Hey there!
I am gonna share what I wrote for a charity online organization to help animals.

Duchess is my Yellow Labrador Retriever who is 11 years old.She is a full blood registered dog, having been bred three times.

This dog was my neighbor's pet for himself and his kids. My son had the pleasure of watching her grow up and getting to know her well.

In fact, my son is the only person that could console her when her master committed suicide! Sadly, she had to be given away, but she got the best owner she could have ~ my son!

In addition, Duchess is the most intelligent, well behaved animal I have ever seen in my life.She was trained very well for obedience! One word commands are all that she ever needs and she will obey every time, doing exactly what I want her to do."Dutch" grew up around kids, so she loves little ones. She is very, very loving and she will hug and kiss upon request, as well as NOT on request! That is how loving she is.Her kisses are big and wet too!

One funny characteristic about this amazing dog is the love that has grown between Duchess and my cats! I found out from her former master's kids that the ONE thing in the world that this dog HATED was cats, and when she came to live with us, there were two, then a third cat came later! She tried going after my one cat and about chewed the poor scared cat up! Needless to say, I taught her to tolerate the cats since they are my babies too.

Another hilarious characteristic about this Duchess of mine is that she loves snow and belly rubs! It is so much fun to watch her fall down wherever we are, to scratch her back all over the ground! She will lay down and roll over to get her belly rubbed while she moans in pure delight. I will stretch her arms and legs too and she almost falls asleep because she is relaxed! Moreover,I love to see her make snow angel doggies! It is so funny when she falls in the snow and starts rubbing back and forth, as well as when she buries her pig-like nose in the snowdrifts! She will act JUST like a young puppy digging her nose way down in the snow and flipping her nose back up to make snow fly everywhere! She looks as if she is smiling too!

Besides making me laugh and have fun, Duchess walks with me everyday, along with the two cats I have left.The one cat is white and the exact yellow color that she is,so they LOOK alike, like they belong together. She now loves the cats and protects them!

So how do I profess my love for this big baby? She is a special part of my family and I am grateful for her. She gives me love unconditionally, as I do her!
